A Viral Linking Post
Well, here’s something unrelated to posting pictures and photographs in this blog. Here goes…
I have been tagged (thank you) by Manilenya via her viral linking post.
I selected 5 other bloggers (tagged) and hope that you (tagged bloggers) will similarly publish this post in your respective blogs. For those tagged, you need to tag 5 other bloggers and just keep adding on to the list.
Note: Do not replace but just keep on adding. Tag others and see your Technorati Authority increase exponentially (this would be more meaningful if you have a technorati account in the first place; if not, do create one).
The benefits of viral linking? These are:
- One of the fastest ways to see your Technorati Authority explode!
- Increase your Google PageRank fast
- Attract large volume of new traffic to your site
- Build your community
- Make new friends!
People who took part on this: people who already took part on this tag:
*Blognation, Pinoytek, Reyna, Bluep, Kotsengkuba, Buraot, Iris, Banco De Reyna, Manilenya, Jio [next please].
That’s it.
Oh, yeah, the five random tagged bloggers: Jen, Shay, Max, Makoy, Jerry.

Wishing A Happy Chinese New Year
Gong Xi Fa Cai! Gung Hei Fat Choi! Xin Nien Kuai Lei! No matter what is the greeting, but today I am wishing all a prosperous Chinese new year (the lunar new year that is). I haven’t received any physical red packets from my Singaporean officemates here though I have taken quite a few ones from them as souvenirs (they’re not entirely red but rather decorated colorfully). To receive a red packet or “ang pao” containing money would mean being wished good luck and fortune by the giver to you. With or without any of these red packets, I do look forward for a blessed new year filled with great fortunes both great and small after I checked out my astrological sign’s (dragon) compatibility with that of this year’s rat. But really, I don’t believe that much in such predictions and fortune telling. Still, there is that nagging feeling that I always wanted to simply take a hint and peek into the unknown future of what I’ll be getting this new year. And hey, any good news is always welcome to be heard.
More to come. I’m taking a break to rest today, as what most Singaporeans were doing for the rest of the day (with generally most department stores, supermarkets, and malls closed for the holidays so not much can be done in terms of buying groceries and personal stuffs).

Wishing A Happy New Year Ahead
Today is the last day for year 2007. And tomorrow is another bright day for year 2008. The coming of a new year always bring bright hope to everyone especially to those who anticipate (good) changes and (good) lucks for themselves, their family, and friends. Who doesn’t want to usher a spanking new year - that thought of having a clean fresh start in every aspect of life.
Meanwhile, I thank this year for all the blessings I have received at work, with my relationship with my family, get togethers with old and new friends, and countless things small and big that make each of my 365 days interesting and truly blessed.
This year marked also the successful migration of my blog from Blogger (good service and good memories, but sadly I had to bid farewell) to WordPress! Everything from there became a landslide of blogging and feature possibilities for me. I met new friends and connected with old Internet friends. I wish myself and other blog friends more blogging, fun-filled days ahead!
I’d like to write on, but with limited time at hand (and some chores to finish up for the upcoming New Year celebration tonight), alas, I have to end this entry for today.
But I’d like to wish and pray for year 2008: a more thoughtful, more loving, more inquisitive, and more empathic personality for myself, more blessings and good health for my entire family, more fun-filled and cherished moments and bondings with friends new and old, a safe and soulful celebration (please, spare yourselves from lighting up those firecrackers) for everyone both young and old tonight, and (hopefully and steadfast prayers) better political and economic stability for my beloved country - the Philippines.
Happy New Year to everyone! See you next year (yes, next day)!
